Why are they called Beefeaters? They don't know and they don't make the gin. But they do get several cases of gin each month so they don't complain about their name being used.We visited the Tower of London and received a fabulous tour from our Yeoman Warden (Beefeater). He really enjoyed telling us about everyone who has lost their heads at the Tower.
Did you know that 139 people live in the Tower of London. Not a dead castle, but rather an active part of the kingdom as it has been for over 1000 years.
