Our next stop was the Museum of Antiquities. It had just recently reopened after recoving from several break-ins and looting following the revolution. We couldn't take pictures inside, but we got some pictures out front. In a couple pictures you can see the government building next door that was set on fire during the revolution. Inside we saw the King Tut exhibit and a large collection of mummies. King Tut's burial mask was there, along with two of the three sarcophagus' he was buried in, as well as four large buriel chambers made of wood and gold. The largest chamber was the size of our living room and was removed from the pyramid in pieces, as were all the chambers since they wouldn't fit through the doors and passageways.
