We are on a two day tour of Cairo. The Star Princess was the first large ship to visit Egypt since the revolution (the travel ban to Egypt was lifted on April 20th) and everyone was very pleased to see tourists in the country again. Our first stop was the Mohammad Ali Mosque. We had to take off our shoes in order to go inside and Dawn had to cover her head. It was a beautiful Mosque built in 1811 by Mohammad Ali. A family was very happy to see Bryan (a young western tourist) and wanted their picture taken with him. The guard at the Mosque wanted his picture taken with us to show that he wasn't really that large.
